Scottish DTL Championship 2019 – Day 1 Results
In dry but blustery conditions 145 competitors battled it out for the Tom Sim Trophy. After the 100 targets Jory Roseveare and John Gilchrist were tied on 99/294. A shoot-off took place with Jory scoring a clean 75 to win the Tom Sim Trophy, as well as the McRobbie cup for the highest scoring non-international senior. The W. W. Graham Cup for non-international veteran was retained by Alan Wilson on 98/290. The Roddy Dickson Cup for veteran high gun was won by Kevan Smith on 98/291 and the Stanley/Sturgeon Trophy for high gun non-international junior by Ryan Cooper on 97/284. The Hugh Barr Cup for highest junior score over the first 50 targets was won by Angus Stobo 50/146.
Class winners were: AA 99/294 John Gilchrist; A 99/291 Mark Shone; B 98/288 Dianne Melrose; C 96/278 James MacLellan.
