GLENMORISTON SHOOTING GROUND IS RE-OPENING!

Having moved into phase 3 of the easing of COVID-19 restrictions, and having had a trial run this weekend, the Board is now able to open up the ground and start shooting again, albeit in a very restricted way.

This Saturday, the 18th July, we will be open for OT and DTL practice for 2hr morning and afternoon sessions when priority will be given to those of you who have already renewed/taken out your club membership for 2020.  You can book a slot now by contacting Shona on 07855 164656.  A further announcement will be made on Thursday should any slots remain available.

The following guidelines should be observed:

On booking a slot, you will be advised which layout to park beside.  Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes before your shooting start time.

Shooters should report to the office on arrival at the ground.

A one-way system is in place through the clubhouse so that you can access the office and toilets safely.

Shooters are required to maintain strict social distancing at all times in line with Scottish Government guidelines.  Shooters should not socialise with those who are not on their squad.

Shooters are required to take all empty cartridge cases and boxes away with them – there will be no bins provided on the ground.

Practice can be paid for on the day using cash or by contactless card payment.

At the moment there will be no catering or refreshments available on site.

Please leave the ground within 15 minutes of the end of your shooting time.

Please do not turn up at the ground without booking a slot – you will not be allowed to shoot if you do.  Non-Shooting guests are also not permitted at this time.

Please remember that these guidelines have been put in place not only for your safety, but also the the workers who will be running the layouts.

Thank you for your co-operation.
