Sunday 30th April

This week saw the final handover to Glenmoriston Estate with our lease expiring at midnight tonight, the 30th April.  The Estate have purchased the equipment for both OT ranges, the ABT range, the sportrap range and four DTL ranges.  What their plans are, I am not sure, but I sincerely hope that they will have some clay shooting on the site in the future.

The silent auction was very successful with all lots being sold, paid for, and off to new homes.

A meeting will be called later in the summer for all existing club members to decide how the club funds should be disbursed.

Thank you again for all your support to the club, and to me personally, over the years.  It really has been much appreciated.

Regards
Shona

Silent Auction

Thank you to everyone who placed bids in our Silent Auction.  All bidders have been contacted and good to see the majority of equipment going to local clubs.

Sale of Equipment – Silent Auction

The sale of 19 lots of equipment (some not previously advertised) will be conducted by a Silent Auction.  Guide prices and the number of interested parties have been included in the sale list which you can see by clicking this link:

GSG Silent Auction – List of 19 Lots for Sale

Bids should be submitted to the club using the online form available here:

https://forms.office.com/r/RB66CEBTmY

By NOON on FRIDAY 7TH APRIL

Up to 5 lots can be bid for on the form.  Should you wish to bid for more than 5 items you will need to submit a second form.

Shona Marshall will collate the responses.  She has declared no interest in any of the items and WILL NOT reveal the number or value of any bids TO ANYONE before the above closing date and time.

During the afternoon of the 7th she will contact the highest bidder for each lot to arrange payment and collection.  Should there be more than one highest bid of the same value, whoever submitted the bid first will be the successful bidder.

For lot 5 – BRB sets will be allocated as follows:  the highest bidder purchases the number of sets he/she requires, followed by the next highest bidder and so on until the 5 sets are allocated.  It may be that someone who is next on the bidding list and has bid for two or more sets may only be able to get one set if the others have been purchased by higher bidders.

The successful purchasers will be contacted by email/phone and given details of how to pay for their purchase(s) by BACS, cheque, cash or card.  Payment must be made within 7 days, i.e by the 14th April.  Any items not paid by then will be offered to the next highest bidder.

All lots must be removed from the ground by Sunday 23rd April at a mutually arranged time.  Please note that the BRB control boxes might not be back at the club by that date, in which case alternative arrangements will be made.

The traps and voice release systems will be shown working prior to removal from the ground and are sold as seen.

Thank you for your interest, and Good Luck!
